About Us

We are a small company and manufacturer of vegan convenience foods – but it wasn't always this way:

Everything related to Atacolypse is the work of owner and vegan chef Sara Lamparsky, who moved from Texas to Leipzig in the early 2000s to share her passion for native Tex-Mex cuisine, which was relatively unheard of here at the time. It was a natural step to open a food truck in a suitable trailer format, which quickly became a popular spot for connoisseurs and the curious alike. In the following years, after several moves and increasing workloads, finally at the end of 2024, it was about time to cease the regular restaurant operations.

Since a certain addictive quality to the typical Atacolypse flavor developed among our customers over the years, we decided to bottle it – resulting in a whole range of unique sauces for sale. The pioneer of this concept is Frustration Hot Sauce, which we've been offering in bottles for years and which has since achieved nothing short of cult status.

After initially being available exclusively at two Leipzig convenience stores, Lazy Dog and Kiezkontor, the products can now also be purchased through this online shop. We ship everywhere by mail, well-protected, within two business days and with and parcel tracking. Additionally, we offer customers within the Leipzig city limits free delivery twice a week or the option to pick up their order themselves in Leipzig Connewitz – this saves unnecessary packaging waste and, of course, shipping costs. However, the delivery area is limited to a 7 km radius around our location, as we only deliver by bicycle for sustainability reasons and don't want to drive all the way to the airport. The free delivery option will be displayed if your postal code falls within this area.

We also offer a range of sweets under the name LONESTAR, including the infamous Lonestar cake, available only in the two stores mentioned, with a constantly changing selection of flavors. If you're familiar with this but can't shop there, feel free to contact us – we might bake on request!

We've designed the website and ordering process to be as straightforward as possible, but you can also place an order by phone or email. Payment options include bank transfer and PayPal, as well as cash on delivery or pickup. Creating an account is not required to place an order; however, it allows returning customers to view their previous orders and save their delivery adress.

Since we can't completely abandon the food service business, you'll still occasionally see one of our pop-up stands – usually in Connewitz, and always with a small, exciting menu. Of course, you can also buy our products there. If you'd like to be notified about these stands in advance, you can subscribe to our newsletter or follow us on Instagram.
